Not often are Vermont bands compared to upper echelon Boston bands. The Phil Abair Band is the exception. Winners of the Burlington Free Press Reader's Choice Award for Best Band the PAB is a perennial favorite. The band features 4 lead vocalist and skilled, experienced, musicians that have been members of various Phish projects. With a repertoire that spans all styles of dance music, and a mission to keep everyone on the dance floor, the PAB is the perfect solution for a New England wedding.

Phil Abair - Keyboards, Guitar and Vocals
Phil has been on the New England music scene for the last twenty years playing keyboards, bass guitar, singing and songwriting with High Rollers, Shattered, The Showstoppers, Abair Brothers, Tammy Fletcher and the Dude of Life to name a few. He released a critically acclaimed CD in 2001 titled The Century Turns. Phil is a founding member of Pork Tornado with drummer Jon Fishman of Phish, they released the Pork Tornado CD 2002 and toured the country.

Kenny Gulfield - Bass Guitar and Vocals
Kenny is also a veteran of the music scene here in the Northeast (High Rollers, Little Wing, Abair Brothers, Dude of Life).A multi-talented solid rhythm man Kenny is just as comfortable playing bass or drums. Kenny plays drums with the very popular Grippo Funk Band.

Christine McConnell—Vocals
Christine’s the newest member of the group and has added a great new element . She has a powerful voice and dynamic range that has taken the band to a new level.

Mark Lurvey - Guitar and Vocals
Mark has toured the east coast playing guitar in The Law and Jamie Lee & The Rattlers. Mark has performed with many national groups to audiences as large as 10,000. As of now he performs with The Phil Abair Band and does some dates in “The Logger” shows, appearing recently on television in a documentary covering The Logger.

Jeff Stem - Drums
Jeff is the drummer whose style is very much like Charlie Watts. Rock solid. Jeff hails from Philadelphia, and has gained a reputation as one of the best drummers around New England.
